The I-TECH Register control is built around a high speed color camera. It has an
on-board DSP for fast image analysis and network communication. The camera uses a
short pulse of Pure White Xenon light, for best imaging results and critically important
for dirty or recycled stock. The wide spectrum lighting also allows the camera to
detect CMYK as well as ANY other special/spot unit colors. The system is extremely
reliable since it was designed for the harsh news printing environment.
The camera installs before the dryer, immediately after the last inking unit for
ultra fast response and tight color registration controls. It is designed with high-end
Telecentric Lens and precision optics to deliver accurate measurements while handling
unsupported web flutters. It has an integrated air funnel to guard against heavy
ink misting. To complete the package, the system uses the Nano Register marks, an
advanced user interface and it comes with free 24/7 remote support. The system delivers
lower waste while increasing the quality of your product.
